Ed’s story
Ed’s memory loss meant debt was pilling up. He needed help cooking and looking after himself, but feared losing his independence. Sam, our Village Agent, helped him find support with his finances and utility bills. Now Ed has an emergency alarm and carers who come in daily. He feels safe at home.
Lilly’s story
Lilly’s partner died of cancer before they could make one last trip to their family’s special place. Nick, our Village Agent, found funding for a campervan so Lilly and her daughter could visit the beach they loved. It brought them comfort and helped them say goodbye.
Amy’s story
Amy couldn’t afford a cooker. Her limited mobility made it hard to access fresh food. She wanted to cook her own meals. Jo, our Village Agent, helped her equip her home and find a local food pantry. Now she cooks for herself. She feels independent again.
